I don't know enough about the money available to say whether we should go after Dent or not. And, generally, I'm really don't like the idea of paying a ton of money to a guy that will be here one year. (I know, continuity is not big factor in success anymore, it's probably fine to pay up for one year. I just don't like it).
I just know that Dent is a guy that can get into the paint and feed the bigs. We haven't seen that in any of Cronin's 5 years here. I'd just love to have my curiosity about "can Cronin actually coach that? Does he want to coach that?" satisfied.
That is all.
But, with a guy that can do that (whether it's Dent or someone else) I feel like that would be a huge force multiplier for Mara.
