Sounds like a nice prospect but it all depends on what happens with the point guard recruiting which will determine the focus of next year's offense as well as how much NIL $$ we will have remaining to fill our out team.
Kid has a nice frame and is young but not filled out yet - room to grow and develop. He's a good rebounder but his shooting touch isn't fully developed yet which means if you're depending on him as a primary player next year, you're taking a risk at that.
If we get Dent at his pay level I expect we are focusing our offense around a two man game - Dent with the ball and Mara in the paint with the other players moving around to get into position to benefit from passes or contest the boards on offense; but if we miss on Dent, I expect we're looking at more of a five man offense and will have more money to spend in which case I think we focus on a wing who is more developed, tested and proven.
I think Riley is a good investment for the future but not a starter for next season to be relied on to provide offense regularly right away
