I highly doubt that UCLA could outbid Tex Tech. I just read on BG that UCLA just offerred David Bailey (Stanford linebacker) $1M and Cody Campbell (Tex Tech oil billionaire) immediately stepped up with a $2M bid. Bailey committed to Tex Tech of course, despite that he is a CA kid and most likely preferred UCLA.
