Of the top-15 2024 recruits (247 sports), other than the Duke players, only one was on a team that won more than one NCAA tournament game, Derik Queen of Maryland who won two (the second on his controversial shot). Almost half won none. Of the seven Elite-8 teams besides Duke, there were only two freshmen starters and neither was ranked in the top-30. The most successful teams had the best transfers.
