It looks like Sienna could be a good replacement for Janiah. I loved how Janiah forced the opposing big to come out of the box to defend her, and drew a lot of fouls that way. Imo, we didn't use that enough. Janiah could have put a lot of fouls on the players that were defending Lauren. Looks like Sienna might be able to do that.
I was glad to see Close saying the offense wasn't going to so much through Lauren.
I hope Close runs plays to get shots for Kneepkens and Timea, rather than the ol' pass it in, pass it out. Or, at the very least, position Kneepkens or Timea on the weak side so the person doubling off them can't recover as quickly.
I'm very interested to see what CLW can do. I don't know anything about her.
Last, last season our best outlet player on the break was Jacquez. We got away from running as the season wore on. I hope we get back to running. And, if we don't, it looks like Jacquez will struggle to find minutes.
Excited for the season to start! Hoping to go to the first home game.
