Yeah I’ve “hoid’ of it”…found it in the past be hit and miss but if substantially upgraded to carry all that, bully for it …and thanks for the rhetorics ..
I acknowledge sites and apps are the generational new sources providing an auxiliary fleet for the mothership source which still remains a prestige terrestrial radio station brand for a major college program …perhaps a bit old school but again my typical radio grab for a UCLA coverage is often while driving when you don’t want to be rooting around for an app or website. The programming network I’m involved with has a bundle of terrestrial stations and part of our production process
is to monitor the carriage via their streaming apps if they have them
and have learned the considerable deficiencies in many of them, including but not limited to undue delays from the top, discordant breaks, silences, misplaced spot loads and licensing conflicts where the game broadcast is barred for coincidental carriage on the app or website.(not the case here).
And since you persist your specialty beating the dead issue carcass of 1150 AM which happily is no longer in our future, those coverage maps are heavily flawed. One of our stations is supposed to be available on air in L.A. area per “the coverage map” but you could hear it better on a conch shell, if at all.
Anyway, having KABC brand carriage does elevate UCLA’s game….
