If Mara can play significant minutes, he should do very well there.

At the end of the season, it looked to me that Cronin was using Filo, Daily, and Mara as a sort of 3 to play 2 in the 5 and 4 positions. 80 minutes/3 players - each was getting about 26 mpg. That other center got 5 of those minutes. I'm not sure Mara could have played any more down the stretch than he did. And, if he did, who's minutes would he have gotten, Daily or Bilo?

But, he ought to get all the minutes he can handle at UM. We'll see what that number is.

As for his comments about May "knowing how to coach a big man." Yep. I'm old, my memory is about as dependable as a Lucas electrical system. So, if anyone can remind me of a center who has thrived under Cronin, TIA.
