Rubbing the on-ball defender off a screen, even if the screener slips the screen? Teamwork
But if a wing player receives a pass from the top and takes a shot, I'd characterize that as solo. The o isn't doing anything that has made the d move its feet and have to communicate/make decisions.
However, a pass into the post that leads to a turn around jumper or a jump hook is Teamwork, imo. The timing and placement of the pass are critical to the success of the shot. A big can't pass the ball to himself.
I'd posit that better teams, like UConn and Duke, generate a higher % of shots from Teamwork than from solo efforts, compared to ccrappy teams.
