Nothing in your response convinces me that Cronin isn't the problem. You said we lowered the intensity and exhaled late. If this isn't squarely on the coach, I'm not sure who else is to blame. It's the coach's responsibility to set the tone and establish a winning a culture. This is done at practice, at team meetings, and in the coach's private conversations with his players. It starts well before each game, and when it's working well, you see it reflected in the team's energy and attitude. Mick Cronin's teams often seem timid, stiff, anxious, and lackadaisical. Why do you suppose that is?
Anyway, Cronin's incompetence is so obvious that it feels cynical to keep pointing it out.
