While I haven’t watched every one of their games, they’ve looked pretty darn good. They outclassed a very athletic Alabama team and beat a desperate Memphis squad that was projected to do much better than their record shows. Today’s matchup with Texas Tech should be a good one.
Arizona might have the best record, but in my opinion they haven’t looked like the best team. In the win over Florida, they came out hot, but Florida’s defense was pretty much non-existent. You all saw our game, that one could have easily gone the other way, and quite frankly we did not play like a top-rated team. In addition, UConn was missing their best inside player, which likely played a big role in the rebounding discrepancy and, ultimately, the outcome. I suspect Arizona is going to be really good because they have a bunch a freshman that are going to get better but I don't know that they're great just yet. HAving said that, all you can do is beat the teams in front of you.
