and first man that is open shoots a three, midrange or drive to hoop. Sometimes it happens in about 8 to 10 seconds. And what's interesting, much of their downcourt action is via quick outlet passes rather than dribbling. They love to run and have about 6 players who don't hesitate to shoot the three from NBA range. If they do have to settle for a half court set, there is a lot of movement, screens and passing but it is mostly downhill, not side to side. And their inside scorer who posts up the most is 6'10, 250 lb Johnson. He's extremely strong in the post and very difficult to guard once he gets his hands on the ball. Very good offensive rebounder too.

You are correct in that their offense isn't built around Mara. Most of his points come on offensive put backs, a few ally oops off of a pick and roll and an occasional back to the basket hoop. But their offense isn't built around any single individual. Most all of their 9 man rotation seem to have the ability to create for themselves and May pretty much lets them create at will.

One other thing. They play really good defense and hit the boards hard. Their bigs rebound well but their big guards also rebound well. Fun team to watch and as you know, since that's my wife's school, we watch all of their games.
