They lost to Vandy, who is undefeated. Out of curiosity, I checked Vandy's schedule. They haven't beaten anyone of note.
I would guess this means that LSU no longer is competition for a 4th, 5th overall seed.
Barring some tough losses among the top 4, it looks like "and then there were four."
Texas or SoCaro will defeat the other. As it stands now, I'd be cheering for Texas to repeat their win v. SoCaro. But, that might not be enough to knock SoCaro out of the 3rd overall. Hoping someone else can take a bite out of them. LSU has talent, they might be the team to do it.
And, of course, we have to continue to hold serve, so to speak.
We play Nebraska (20), Minnesota, and MD (6, but recently lost to Ill) in our next three games.
SoCaro has a couple of patsies, then plays Texas on the 15th. Shockingly to me, ESPN give SoCaro a 65% chance to win that game.
Texas just won a squeaker against good-not-great Mississippi, and has LSU on the 11th.
