Not bad, but not very good.
He would often get beat on defense. More times than not as soon as he came in his man would blow by him and score. That could happen more than once. On offense he was often tentative, would dribble and not really do anything. All along, the potential was evident but it wasn't clear that that potential would come to fruition.
Lately, the last six games or so he has been playing better and the last two or three games he has made even more strides toward realizing that potential. That's why in a post somewhere below I admitted I was wrong and amended my earlier opinion.
He still has a way to go, There's still room in his ceiling. We'll see how far he progresses, but right now it all is looking much better than it did awhile ago IMO. 30 points is an accomplish, stating the obvious. But now he's going to have to kick it up a notch as defenses are going to start keying on him. I think he has it in him but each step forward can take some time to adjust and learn a new level of play. One thing is for certain, not that things have been easy thus far, but everything is soon to get harder for Trent. Everyone now knows what he's capable of.
