He is rarely playing D on the perimeter, unless he's matched up with a deadeye dick opposition center shooter who stays out of the low blocks to unclog the paint and allow one of said opposition's team supra drivers to slash into the paint on dribble drives.
Moreover, we are an awful rebounding team, which doesn't exactly prompt the notion that our tallest player should be out of the boarding action on the elbow.
And, CMC is the last coach on the planet who is going to leave, say, another 6'11" opposition center being guarded by one of UCLA's perimeter player in the low blocks to "accommodate" our shakiest starter in Book, or {{{Gasp!!!}}} have that 6'11" opposition dude being guarded by our worst defender, the plodding Bilo.
I'll buy you a beer if Izzo OR CMC or any D-oriented coach would give Book even a minute at the 3, given that he's a marginal player who gets starter mins at the 5 becuz we've got no one capable of putting Book on the pine as a reserve as was the case at Michigan State.
