Williams ending up guarding Wagler. Trent was guarding Davis along the baseline on the weak side. Wagler drove and Perry pealed off his man to help stop the ball. When Wagler kicked the ball out, Perry's instinctual first move was to take a step toward the outside shooter. Once he moved toward the outside, Davis stepped toward the basket and established down low position. That left Williams down low with Davis and Wagler. Perry ended up behind Davis and Williams had to choose who to block out. He blocked out the guy closest to him - Davis. The rebound went to Wagler and he put the ball back up. It was a broken play. The Bruins were scrambling to stop the ball and cover everybody else. I'm not sure there's anyone to point to, but if there is it would probably be Perry for leaving his man Davis along the baseline. But his move to try and help stop the drive and to step toward the outside shooter weren't necessarily wrong.
