I went nuts, partly because I had tickets for the next two games
in Oakland which my lifelong best friend and I were able to use.
In 4.8 seconds I went from figuring out how to sell the tickets
to losing my voice and scaring the dog.
Those next two games were played in an arena that didn't allow
alcohol on the first level, but served beer way down below,
which is where I went because I was so nervous.
I decided to call my dad (pay phone) to let him know where
I was. Making a call next to me was Tom Ramsey.
