In a Big East Semi-Final, IIRC, Ben Howland's Pitt team was in one of those legendary Big East battles in Madison Square Garden. Very late in the game, Pitt's opponent was rolling the ball up the court like that, preserving the shot clock. Like a lightning bolt, Pitt PG Brandin Knight streaked in in a headfirst dive and stole the ball. It was an astonishing, INCREDIBLE play!
I once asked Ben Howland about it, regarding whether that was something they had talked about or practiced, and he just said it was a great play by Knight. For some reason, he didn't, or didn't want to, give me an actual answer to my question. I've always wanted to see a video clip of that play.
