need to ask more than just me - mor opinions. Some of the ex-coaches on the board - ej, traprh
Their offense and defense is very system - mh mentioned the old Princeton teams - like that. They worked the ball around and their key shooters moved a lot also. The worked and worked for their shots.
When we were on our game, so did we. Their defense packed the paint and that very much restricted Dent and Perry on the offensive end. But Dailey played with excellent control. Clark was on but their D made it difficult on him. Bilodeau was our best weapon. They couldn't completely stop him.
On their side they wound up with not just the one top scoring threat but three guys who were outstanding.
Hitting all those shots - yes, great shooting night; doesn't happen that often. But they worked hard for their shots and our weakness in the post meant we had to double on their threats when they penetrated and they moved the ball well and a lot and found the open man often enough to beat us in the end. They made a quick six point run from dead even and after that it was us trying to close and them staying just far enough ahead.
They took advantage of what we couldn't do but had the game been in Pauley, we'd have won it instead of them.
