I still think the only other team with a legitimate shot is Michigan State. They have a true floor general at the point, an elite athlete who projects as a future NBA player, and probably just as importantly, a coach who’s been through deep runs before and understands how to manage the moment.
Offensively, they’re solid but not elite, ranking around No. 36 in efficiency. But defensively, they’re absolutely dominant at No. 6. That’s championship-level defense.
