last season, just like they don't have better metrics than UConn this season.
And I'm not saying UCLA will win if they play UConn this year. Just that the two teams are provably statistically closer than most people think.
But I will add that what happened last year means absolutely nothing. For one thing, UConn doesn't have Paige Bueckers, one of the most dominant offensive players of the last decade. Conversely, UCLA doesn't have Londynn Jones.
That difference alone is almost worth 34 points.
