Remarkably good half thrown down by the good guys.
Holding the Izzos to 33 points..........yeah.........remarkable.
First my concerns that I earlier posted about:
1) with our aggressive D, getting swamped on the stripe ~ 11-3 in FT points, a major concern as Izzo is throwing down some red meat in the lockerroom as we wait;
2) no surprise, but we're losing the battle of the boards. It could be worse, but The Garbage Man is by far the game-high rebounder and is keeping us in the game with 7 in 1H.
Of course, the magic 4 letters are:
B-I-L-O .....................have no idea, but there's no place for him to hide, assuming he can come back, against t physical team to beat the band. Jamerson with his huge boo-boo in the last 2 secs would be a sacrificial lamb against Izzo''s behemoths. And, Book can't play at the level needed against a physical beast of a team like MSU. And, scary thought, but becuz Izzo can read the tea leaves, could MSU foul out Dailey................who has zero PFs. Stay tuned and watch the wheels turn, as The Garbage Man is our entire front line if Bilo is out.
On O, it's Dent, Perry and The Garbage Man again. Skyy is moving well on D, but we desperately need him to spread MSU's D and START SCORING! Staying with the O, our TRIPLE DOUBLE man strikes again with 7 dimes and no TO's ~ amazing!
Perry 2 PFs; Book 2; and Freeny 3.
Have no idea how the next 20 mins will go.............I'll have my fingers partially over my eyes, but proud as hell with the 1H.
