Yeah, I don't believe it either.
No Bilo and less than half a measure of Dent, and we're still competitive.
And, something else for no one to believe:
Jack "Who?" Benter, a nobody, is coming out of nowhere to prevent us from being only 3 or 4 points down by scorching us from the arc. Who? Benter, who's a bench player and who avgs only 4.6 pts per game as the ***9th*** "leading scorer for Purdue.
Sure, we're getting killed on the boards. Most teams do kill us ~ 21-13. But for us to be this close (absent Who?) is all the more a tribute to our D. The Garbage Man is our leading rebounder again as Bookerson has 1 board between them. Book contributed on O, but he's hopelessly lost on D ~ continuously getting sucked out on the perimeter leaving Purdue with a huge size edge in the low blocks. Jamerson? ~ totally and unequivocally lost.
The Garbage Man is also our leading scorer, which is not good news since he's just scrambling out there ~ wherein we need our ball-centric ballers in our 3 guards to boost our O.
Almost had a heart attack when Ian Eagle said it was Dent's hammy...............until he corrected himself and said it was a calf. No idea if Mick wants to roll the dice and put him back in.
GO BRUINS!
