UCLA showed a lot of character and grit and made it close, but I just always felt that Purdue was always in control. It was also clear who is the better team when whole. I'm not sure Purdue could have given a complete UCLA team too much trouble the way the Bruins have been playing as of late. We'll never know. It really doesn't matter since there was very little meaning to this game other than pride and maybe ego and maybe one more step up in seeding. I think the Bruins should be proud of what they accomplished in Chicago and carry with them into the NCAA's a lot of confidence and momentum.
Go Bruins.
Now if someone could light a fire under Booker - preferably Booker himself. C'mon "Book," the Bruins need you. It would be nice if they could count on you for 10-12 points and 6-8 rebounds a game coming off the bench and playing 15 to 20 minutes. You can do it. It's there somewhere. Just dig deep and find it. What are you waiting for?
