Odds makers like our first two matchups better than other 7 seeds

As I pointed out earlier, KenPom indicates that we have the easiest path of all the #7 seeds through the first two games. The oddsmakers seem to agree.

Here are the current odds for the #7 vs #10 games.

Kentucky -3 to -3.5 vs Santa Clara
St. Mary's -2.5 vs Texas A&M
Miami -1.5 vs Missouri
UCLA -5.5 to -6.5 vs UCF

How strong are the #2 seeds. Here are the lines in the #2 vs #15 matchups.

Houston -22.5 to 23.5 vs Idaho
Iowa State -23.5 to -24.5 vs Tennessee State
Purdue -24.5 vs Queens
UConn -20.5 vs Furman

I understand that the odds are based on the evaluation of BOTH teams in a game, but I still find this encouraging.
