WERE critical in that game, obviously. UCLA shot a better percentage from the floor, but Texas had 11 more shot attempts due to the turnover difference.
It will also help if they don't go crazy from 3. They made 6 in the 1st game, which isn't outrageous, but on the season, they averaged 4 made 3s per game. Take away 2 of those, and rhe Bruins actually take lead instead of just closing within 4. That's a completely different end game.
Texas has made 2, 8, 3, and 3 threes in the tournament. That's still an average of 4 but you can see how the trend id down.
