They aren't allowing us to set up or make easy passes and as I said, too many TOs (including some forced passes), and too much one-on-one efforts - that's not our game. And Kiki is still in a bad slump. UCLA BB without Kiki pulling her weight is struggling.

Defense is the theme of the Women's Final Four, for sure. Elegance not so much.
Harmon leading them with 8 points (another big game against us by Roni) while Gianna has 7 and Lauren 6 for us.
We're doing well on defense but too much individual play on our part (yes, Texas is making passing really difficult for us. Some here have called for some plays, screens to enable players to get open. They would certainly help right about now.)
But we met their physical challenge in the first half this time. Now both teams will draw a deep breath and work on doing more things on offense and we'll see how it plays out. We won the second half vs them last time - need to do it again right now when it really counts most
