Unlike the first game, Philon showed why he can be a great get for Cronin. He again showed little on offense, but the rest of his game demonstrated outstanding defense (just what we need) and athleticism (outside of Adem Bona) rarely seen on UCLA teams. His team won in double OT and he saved the game by blocking a potential game winning last second layup in the first OT. Here is a picture of the block (without goaltending):
