Please point to the decades of sustained national relevance. Reliving the glory days hardly counts as sustained relevance, because there sure as hell hasn't been a ton of glory since Wooden left.
And you could compress Wooden's title run down to about a decade. So we've had a historic run that has more or less proven to be a historical anomaly. Perhaps you haven't noticed, but referring to UCLA as a blueblood within the context of modern college basketball is an act of generosity.
