if she's behind the defender, throw her the ball into the front court. She doesn't need to dribble if she's not comfortable doing so.
If the defender is covering the center, the center then cuts straight back toward the person inbounding the ball. Since the center's reverse cut is spontaneous, she'll be open.
Inbounder throws a pass to the open center.
While the center is in the process of catching the ball, a winger near each side line sprints to the offensive basket.
The center turns and passes the ball to one of the two wingers for a lay-up. Since the press is on, the defenders aren't expecting the wingers to sprint away from the inbounder. One or both wingers are usually open.
Do that twice and you won't see the press again.
