from Washington, who I believed would be a good addition at the 2. But most sites now have him as a probable for Kentucky--he is on his visit there this weekend. Don't even know if the Bruins are still or ever have been involved with him or Blackwell. Haven't heard who other guard options are that they are looking at.
They definitely need a good three point shooting, solid starting scoring guard though to go with Perry and a starting center with good rim protection and rebounding capability IMO. I don't believe that the 5 is Booker's best position and rim protection and dominant rebounding aren't among his strengths.
From the videos I've seen of previously 3 star rated Luke Wilson, the 6'9, 255 lb center from Sun Belt Conference Applachian State who is supposedly visiting UCLA, he looks like may be able to fill the bill at Center as he has good bulk and athleticism. About thesame size as Michigan's Johnson.
However, to give the Bruins the best chance to compete with the best in the Big 10, my preference would be one of the higher rated centers of around 7'+ and over 250 lbs with both defensive and offensive skills. But from what I've been reading, I guess UCLA doesn't have the funds to get someone in that NIL price range. It's difficult for me to understand how a huge university like UCLA, one of the best on the planet, could be dealing with a lower level of NIL funding than many of their competitors.
