The new "way too early" CBS preseason top 25 is out and although it's really too early to get too excited over it, it's strange to see USC rated in the 18th position (a team that didn't even make the tournament last year) and not a hint of UCLA being anywhere in sight even with their 5 core players returning and 2 HS recruits and 3 portal player commitments. I guess the analysts who put these things out for CBS aren't that impressed with UCLA's progress.
I'm sure things will change as time goes by and it will be interesting to see how things are looked at when all portal signings and recruit signings are completed for next season's teams. Hopefully UCLA is looked on with a bit more respect then.
