She needs to cut down on her turnovers, but her assist to turnover ratio was better when she was a freshman at UCLA. She had 3.4 assists per game as a Bruin, probably because she had better scorers to pass to.
It would help if she improved her free throw shooting too.
For reference, Kiki Rice's counting totals (13.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists) as a sophomore were better than Aarnisalo's, but her percent shooting on 2s (49.8%) and 3s (31.2%) was lower.
Similarly, Leger-Walker, as a sophomore at WSU had better averages in points (16.1) and rebounbs (5.2) but a lower number of assists per game (2.8) and lower percentages on 2s (44.9%) and 3s (27.2%).
As I said before, I'm very happy Aarnisalo is back.
