The operative word here is secretive. What we don't know is a lot. And we don't even know what we think we know. Blackwell is a big if. If Cronin fans on Blackwell there's going to be some scrambling again like last year, only in a different way.
Able would be a good get but again we just don't know. He's got a lot of folks after him, including maybe the NBA.
No bigs on any horizon. We don't know if that's even true. I'm with most here in that I would like to see a 7+ footer, but if that's not possible I would like to see Luke Wilson, undersized and question marks and all, rather than no one. Right now I can't see relying on Booker as the primary 5. Wilson is rated # 178 in the portal. I can't see that rating bringing in a huge asking price but we don't know that either and now Purdue is after him.
Does Cronin hold any unseen cards in what appears, from our obscured seats in the peanut gallery, as a game of "chicken," or is he just flying by the seat of his pants with no map and no idea how all of this is going to play out? We don't know.
