Not even sure what excuse you’d point to then for why he still picked Duke to defend Cronin - maybe the fans and support suck (because Cronin should have no accountability)? But it doesn’t matter. This outcome of a recruit choosing another program (Duke, Arizona, Kentucky, UNC) is so tired and repetitive that most guessed that would happen anyway. And even if Cronin got him, the team is lacking in major talent at the wing and center that I would’ve been surprised if they got to the Sweet 16. Cronin sucks.
