I remember laughing as the players in bowl games -- especially the Rose Bowl -- would introduce themselves. Below their names were their college majors. A LOT of the players from the University of Michigan had their majors listed as "Speech/Communications".
On the other side of that coin, it was always super impressive when a UCLA player's major was something like Economics, which is (or was) a VERY tough major at UCLA.
