roster construction (29:14) is particularly interesting. Analytics and statistics seem much less important than most of us probably think (based on the posts here--OTOH, that's the only information available to us). Of course, her thoughts apply to all sports.
The video wraps up with a discussion of NIL (33:40). WBB seems well positioned to get the players CCC wants. The most interesting issue is how the portal impacts HS recruiting. She explicitly says there's no point in recruiting a HS player that won't contribute immediately, because then you're just paying them to leave. I think we're seeing this in MBB too.
