I have lots of complaints about Cronin too (and there are a lot of things he does right, but on balance, he's been a disappointment, in part due to the changing landscape) but he famously said he needed $5 million to compete. Reports are we ponied up $12 million over 2 years, so he got his money. No room for whining any more...
