Mara was very clearly our highest impact player 2 years ago with an unreal ceiling. Even with a defense that was not suited to his gameplay, he immediately gave us a Wemby-lite type of rim protection where his mere presence forced players into tougher jump shots instead of layups.
Mick is no spring chicken. If he hasn't figured it out by now, what gives you confidence he will now?
