Google AI says (for what that is worth), under California Family Code section 6710, the contract is legally binding unless the minor cancels it within a reasonable time after turning 18. It added that continuing to accept a contract's benefits after reaching majority can be considered ratification of the legal obligation. Presumably, continuing to go to class could be considered accepting the benefits of the contract.
