Never said Mick is infallible. If it weren't for the extension and buyout I would have been advocating for firing Mick and going after Donovan.
That said, I am a UCLA fan and I continue to want Mick to do well while he is here. I also think a lot of the critiques of him are B.S.
He's a solid defensive coach who develops players and his teams generally overachieve, IMO.
His biggest downsides are his gruff personality, old school ways, and demanding style which are a turnoff to a lot of players and may be a fatal flaw in this era of NIL.
We'll see how this year pans out. I think it's pretty obvious that he's on thin ice. But I'm hoping he turns it around.
