Since most kids take at least 5 officials, I would suspect that visits result in committments less than 20% of the time.

Next year's class will be interesting. Since all UCLA starters and subs will be eligible to return, recruits won't see a lot of opportunity to start. That will be true at every major program, where starters aren't expected to leave for the NBA.

Since Cronin likes to develop players over time, I think he will continue to go after high school players hard, but it will be hard to get elite kids to come.

There won't be many slots for kids who want immediated PT at UCLA or most other P5 schools.

Some high-level recruits may opt to go to better mid-majors, play for a year, and hope to transfer up.

As the story indicates, the primary reason Davis might want to come to UCLA is if Perry has a huge year and goes pro.
