I think the bulk of this team is a year away and will really show itself in 27-28.
Kustrica has been described as (at least currently) sneaky on defense - yes, quicker players get around him but he has a knack for catching up and blocking shots from behind. That's not high level defense but I expect he will improved under Cronin - but still his defense is likely a year away
Going to be one of those dreaded "very interesting" seasons this season
