is going to have to make some adjustments to get the most out of this current roster. He may or may not do this. If past is prologue then we can anticipate Cronin sticking to his hard hedging straight up man to man defense. Maybe he can coach-up these guys and maybe that works, but I'm skeptical.
If, however, he chooses to make adjustments, no matter where he goes with that he's going to have to make all kinds of adjustments including his attitude, philosophy, demeanor, and demands. A tough row to hoe for anyone, and particularly difficult for someone like Cronin. I don't think it matters which direction Cronin chooses, I fear it will translate to him as a sea change. That, if it happens, would be worth watching.
