Seems somebody could’ve argued they’d serve the Kidd charity better with spots for it within a telecast, as well as a share of any ad revenue it may have generated. It seems UCLA could’ve forced the argument (with maybe a nod to the “charity” they get from UCLA ) a little stronger, given the fan interest
