rankings (always based on some level of projected expectations) is even more so now. We all know how projected expectations work - they can be spot on or way off either way. Right now, using the usual practiced paradigm for preseason rankings, a projected 4 slot appears reasonable. We'll see how all the new Bruin additions meld and how they perform. A sixth place finish or a second place finish wouldn't surprise me too much. We'll know more soon. It will be evident almost immediately how this team is going to perform, and by the end of the first real game against Arizona we'll know even more. Of course teams improve and that's especially true for Cronin teams, but still we'll have a pretty good idea just who this team is, how good this team is, and how good they can be. I'm looking forward to it all.
