Unranked Baylor, a team that beat #1 rated Florida in their first exhibition game took down #3 API rated Illinois, at Illinois, tonight in their second exhibition game. They were ahead by 19 at the half and by 22 midway in the second half. Illinois pulled to within 5 or so as the game ended.
Watching the Baylor team, IMO, they don't have the overall talent the Bruins have. Certainly not the three point shooters either. But one thing they do have is quickness and a very scrappy group. I believe the Bruins also have those traits. It's shaping up to be a very interesting season.
