UCLA WBB played Texas twice last year. Lauren Betts a near insurmountable presence Texas had no answer for.
Can it be a mere coincidence that in both games Madison Booker laid arguably avoidable body slams on Lauren Betts, the first one landing on Betts’s arm, knocking her out for a good portion of the game, and leaving her impaired.
Result: UCLA’s only loss of the year. Mission Accomplished.
In fhe second game rematch in fhe Final Four, Booker struck again, hurling herself onto a mean pancake block on Lauren, planting Lauren on her back, banging her head in fhe floor. Lauren was able to tough it out, perhaps saved from a concussion by her ponytail. Lauren was in there to block Booker’s key shot late in the game. Result: Mission Not Accomplished.
But could both of these, the SAME player hitting on the SAME star opponent not be part of a stealth condoned knockout strategy of that shriveled redneck turkey shooting Vic Schaefer?
