Well shut my mouth!
UCLA outrunning and outquicking a yoo of aay team, despite subpar shooting.
UCLA playing with abandon showing aggression on both ends.......something often missing in a bruising Cronin game.
Good think UCLA clearly appears deep, as that kind of helter-skelter play is going to be accompanied by a lot of PFs, as 5 of UCLA's rotation players have been whistled multiple times.
Good shooting has been a rarity..................with the scant exception of Kharchenkov who's gone 6-11 for a game-high 18 pts. No answer for him yet, but that's why Cronin makes the big bucks.
UCLA has stood out in controlling the boards, led by The Garbage Man with 5 ------> UCLA up 27-22 but, in particular, showing out with 11 O boards to only 6.
How UCLA has forged a humungus 14 pt lead with Perry and Dailey being held atypically down, I haven't a clue. I doubt this one is in the fridge, as I expect Lloyd to tighten up in the paint and start to crash both boards. Nobody on UCLA shooting well, so hopefully that will be an offset that UCLA can ride for the W.
GO BRUINS!
