Love the energy on this team. Love that there was no goofy Mick Cronin offense, no goofy Mick Cronin defense.
I'd like to see Booker getting more threes. He shot 43% percent on 3's last season.
To me, Booker's 3 should be a weapon, not an afterthought.
Also, EDJ's ability to get to the hole was kind of mesmerizing. It reminded me of, keep an open mind here, Jaime. Not as methodical, smooth, inevitable looking as Jaime. But, ultimately, the same thing. Got isolated on the wing and says I got this. Uses spins and reverse spins to back the guy down and get a lay up. Over and over. I know iso-ball is verrry out of favor here, lotta PTSD. But, getting the ball in EDJ or Trent's hands on the wing and letting them get to the hole or get fouled .... those are both good plays. At least they are plays we should be testing through the season to verify that they are going to be viable go-to's when the games are big.
Lastly, I don't follow the hot stove league stuff too much. These days there will be a lot of guys I know nothing about when the season starts. So, I don't know how much we paid the K-man. Whatever it was, it was worth it. I hope he stays two years.
