I watched a bit of a video cast on BRO with some guy named David, Tracy Pierson and the head of MOW. A little commentary. I have no idea who David was, but he had a much better grasp and ability to articulate than Tracy. I haven’t seen Tracy in at least 15 years, we’ve all gotten much older. Does David now run BRO? I wasn’t that impressed by the MoW guy, but the setting and questioning was not exactly lively.
Thr MOW head said chip had hampered NIL for football. He gave an anecdote saying every hooper was very familiar with him yet he never had access to football until this year. He said post Chips firing there was been a “good” not great bump and that many donors were waiting to see who the next guy was. Unsurprisingly, the MOW guy said that’s not how to do it. That it would inevitably lead down the path to who will be the DC and OC and that we needed to fund blindly. I couldn’t watch anymore or I would have fallen asleep.
